What a 30-minute lesson looks like
Salam & warm-up
A friendly greeting and a quick review of the last lesson.
New lesson
The teacher shares the page and points to each letter or word while your child repeats.
Practice
Reading aloud with gentle correction, plus a dua or short surah.
Homework & praise
A small practice task and a note for you in the lesson log.
Designed with children’s safety in mind
- Female teachers only, ID and reference checked, with a signed safeguarding code
- A parent at home during lessons for children under 12
- Messages go through the academy’s WhatsApp with a parent, never privately with a child
- Lessons are never recorded without written consent
Where children usually start
Ages 4–6
Noorani Qaida at a gentle pace: letters, sounds and short duas. Two or three lessons a week suit most little ones.
Noorani Qaida →Ages 7–10
Finish Qaida, then begin Quran reading with Tajweed. Islamic Studies & Duas can be added once a week.
Quran Reading with Tajweed →Ages 11+ (girls)
Fluent reading and Tajweed, or Hifz for girls who are ready to memorise with a daily routine.
Hifz →Help your child love the Quran
- Keep a regular time and a calm corner for lessons
- Sit nearby for the first few lessons, then let them shine
- Celebrate small wins: a new letter, a new dua, a completed page
- Play a Kids Corner game together on non-lesson days
