What is Noorani Qaida?
Direct answer: Noorani Qaida is a step-by-step primer for learning to read Arabic: the 28 letters, correct pronunciation (makharij), short vowels, and joining letters into words — until the student is ready to read the Quran. At Her Quran Academy it is taught gently in 1:1 online classes with female Quran teachers, for children from about age 4 and for beginner women.
How we teach Noorani Qaida
Lessons are live and one-to-one with a female Quran teacher. Children usually take 30-minute lessons; women usually 45 minutes. You can also try our free interactive online Qaida (lessons 1–3).
